Candace McCarthy
Nurse Practitioner
Candace McCarthy is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Candace worked at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas for over nine years in their Neonatal ICU before pursuing her graduate studies. She was a recipient of the Daisy Award while working as a NICU nurse.
Candace received her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She is a certified Menopause Practitioner by the Menopause Society and is trained in bioidentical hormone replacement and hormone pellet placement. She joined CMWC in 2022 and sees patients in the office for hormone consults, weight loss consults and hormone pellet placement.
When Candace is away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and being outdoors.
