Marissa Langford
Nurse Practitioner

Marissa Langford is a dedicated and compassionate board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her journey in healthcare began in 2011, when she obtained her Associate nursing degree from Kilgore College. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University – Texarkana in 2015. Marissa has gained valuable experience working in hospital settings, as well as providing clinical and telephone triage care for family practice, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology in North East Texas.
After relocating to Houston, she focused on pediatric wellness exams while pursuing her graduate studies. In 2018, Marissa received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch and continued working in primary care. In 2022, Marissa broadened her expertise by integrating women’s healthcare into her practice, igniting her passion for promoting wellness and preventive care for women.
She is a certified Menopause Practitioner by the Menopause Society and is trained in bioidentical hormone replacement and hormone pellet placement. Marissa joined CMWC in 2025, where she takes pride in empowering women to thrive and flourish on their wellness journey. As a bilingual provider fluent in Spanish and English, Marissa is passionate about breaking language barriers to deliver inclusive, high-quality care.
Outside of her professional life, Marissa cherishes time with her family. Weekends often find her cheering on her daughter Carmella at volleyball games or keeping up with her energetic son Walker. She also enjoys unwinding with a good book and spending quality time with her husband.
